This work was aimed at gaining insight into structure phenomena in model ni
ckel alloys and finding relations between their structure and mechanical pr
operties. Quantitative stereological analysis was used to determine the str
ucture parameters. The structure processes were described, based on kinetic
dependences of the parameters. The control mechanisms of particle coarseni
ng were described for the individual model alloys. The well-known correlati
ons between the free interparticle spacing of the hardening particles and t
he precipitation hardening were used. Four theoretical models were tested a
nd a good agreement between the calculated and observed hardening Values wa
s obtained. The two theoretical approaches to the kinetics of the structure
phenomena are applicable in technical practice when predicting material pr
operties during long-term operation of the facility.
