Abstract
Industrial gold mining in the north of the Khabarovskii region results in deterioration of natural landscapes in valleys of mountain rivers. Restoration of soil cover is hampered by degradation of permafrost an d soil-forming rocks. It is recommended that the influence of the comp onents of natural and technogenic landscapes should be taken into acco unt in the process of soil reclamation.
