Abstract
Nd:YVO4 single crystal has been grown by the Czochralski method. The effect ive segregation coefficients k(eff) of Nd, Y and V elements have been measu red for crystals with different neodymium-doped concentrations. The absorpt ion and fluorescence spectra of Nd:YVO4 crystal have been measured. The las ers at 1.06 mu m have been demonstrated when the crystal samples of anneale d and non-annealed Nd:YVO4 are pumped by laser diode (LD).
