A generalization of the Uehling-Uhlenbeck equation is proposed, which exten
ds its applicability to particles which obey non-conventional statistics. E
quilibrium solutions and their stability are investigated. The case of part
icles in a medium is then considered and a "Fokker-Planck" approximation is
