Nuclear fragmentation characteristics from isotopic spin dependent lattice-gas model - art. no. 034610

An isotopic spin dependent lattice-gas model is employed to investigate sev eral characteristics of nuclear fragmentation observed in intermediate ener gy heavy ion collisions. Tn addition to the isotopic spin dependent nearest neighbor interaction the Coulomb interaction between protons, expected to be important for heavy systems, is also taken into account. The model is us ed to calculate a number of fragmentation observables with special emphasis on the dependence of particle emission on the isospin content of the disas sembling system.
