A unified theoretical approach is applied to calculate electron impact ioni
zation cross sections for He-like ions(Be2+, B3+ and C4+). The 25 target st
ates including 10 pseudostates are used in the R-matrix calculation. The cr
oss sections are obtained as the sum of the cross sections into all states
lying above the ionization threshold. The present results are in good agree
ment with those of the experiment.
