The results of the studies of the processes of decision-making in managemen
t activity on the complex strategy including activity, structural, function
al and genetic stages are generalized. A new approach to the study of decis
ion-making in management is formulated. According to this approach decision
s are considered as representatives of particular class of integral process
es of regulation of joint activity on hierarchical type. It is proved that
the processes of management decision-making (PMD) are organized in activity
on the basis of structural-level principle in integral hierarchy with five
macrolevels. The main styles of realization of PMD are revealed. The funct
ional organization of the processes of decision-making in management is cha
racterized in details; the main process principles of their functional gene
sis and their relation to other instrumental and expressive processes of or
ganization of joint activity are revealed. The five-factors model of psycho
logical structure of ability to management decisions is given. The main reg
ularities of the genesis of PMD in the process of the subject's mastering o
f profession are revealed and characterized. An attempt to synthesize the r
esults in integral system of conceptual representations concerning PMD is m
ade.
