Abstract
The authors review the psychiatric disturbances associated with traumatic b rain injury. They highlight the close link between traumatic brain injury a nd psychiatry and provide an overview of the epidemiology, risk factors, cl assification, and mechanisms of traumatic brain injury. They describe vario us neuropsychiatric sequelae, and the respective treatments are outlined wi th emphasis on a multidisciplinary approach.
