Abstract
A demonstration is given of the feasibility of two-photon excitation of alu minium phthalocyanine and of the pharmaceutical preparation 'Fotosens', use d in photodynamic therapy. The excitation source was an Nd:YAG laser emitti ng at the 1064 nm wavelength, The spectra of the two-photon-excited lumines cence were obtained and the two-photon absorption cross sections were deter mined.
