Abstract
A method based on the describing function and phase plane is introduced to analyze and design a nonlinear system of spindle speed control. With the co mputer, we can calculate the parameters that affect the system, and utilize some methods such as adding a new nonlinear link to improve the performanc e of the spindle speed control system.
