G. Kyuchoukov et S. Zhivkova, Options for the separation of copper(II) and zinc(II) from chloride solutions by Kelex 100 (R), SOLVENT EXT, 18(2), 2000, pp. 293-305
Different options are developed for the separation of copper from zinc duri
ng their transfer from hydrochloric acid to sulfuric acid medium by means o
f the bifunctional extractant Kelex-100(R). The method consists of the stag
es extraction, scrubbing, stripping and conditioning of the extractant. The
metals may be separated during the extraction, scrubbing or stripping stag
e. Solutions of different acidity, metal and chloride content may be proces
sed.
