Abstract
Early recognition and prompt intervention are the most crucial steps in the management of gallstone-induced biliary disease. Many conditions can mimic the presentation of gallstone-induced complications. Therefore, participat ion of a clinically astute physician is essential in evaluating symptoms an d interpreting diagnostic data in patients with symptomatic gallstones.
