Abstract
Infarct expansion carries a poor prognosis. Echocardiography can ident ify this condition by identifying distortion of the ventricular topogr aphy. in this review we discuss the acute and long-term effects of thr ombolysis on infarct expansion and subsequent left ventricular remodel ing after acute myocardial infarction.
