Abstract
Prionotropis hystrix rhodanica Uvarov, 1923 is a protected grasshopper, end emic to the crau plain area in southern France. the species is threatened b ecause its biotopes are currently being increasingly fragmented, and might even diseappear shortly. An evaluation of the minimum survival area of this species was made by scouting different habitat.
