Abstract
A B-Injector in an arbitrary finite group G is defined as a maximal nilpote nt subgroup of G, containing a subgroup A of G of maximal order satisfying class(A) less than or equal to 2. Among other results the B-Injectors of th e sporadic groups J(1),J(2);J(4) and M-24 are determined.
