In this paper, the three key problems in simulated annealing automatic
statics are solved successively; this will enable the method to be us
ed more widely in practice. The determination of T-min includes obtain
ing the equation for calculating T-c in theory and giving a scheme for
choosing T-min in practice. The change of temperature for each shot o
r receiver is different and it depends on the change of local energy.
Finally, the simple, convenient convergence criteria are necessary for
deciding automatically whether or not the computation should be stopp
ed. The method is applied to practical data. The primary results have
shown the advantage and efficiency of the method.
