Abstract
A surfactant-horseradish peroxidase complex was prepared with a nonion ic surfactant by utilizing water-in-oil emulsions. The complex was rea dily soluble in anhydrous benzene in which it proved to be an excellen t biocatalyst for the oxidation of o-phenylenediamine using H2O2 or te rt-butyl hydroperoxide as oxidants.
