Abstract
We report the successful use of valproate in a 14-year-old woman with migra ine induced by selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Valproate should be considered for those patients who develop serious migraine for the first t ime, or worsening of previous migraine, after the initiation of treatment w ith selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors and for whom continued treatmen t with this class of drugs is important.
