Abstract
We present two cases in which anesthesia was needed for the reduction of ut erine incarceration. The first case was managed with a combined spinal/epid ural technique and the second with a single intrathecal injection of opioid and low dose local anesthetic. The anesthetic issues pertinent to the redu ction of an incarcerated uterus are discussed and the literature briefly re viewed.
