Abstract
A synthesis method for vector radiation patterns of a waveguide antenna arr ay (AA) with finite multilayer dielectric covering is proposed. The method utilizes the radiation pattern of a system excited from one input by a unit -amplitude wave. Using the Galerkin method, the vector pattern synthesis is reduced to two independent systems of linear algebraic equations, whose ri ght-hand sides are formed by combinations of the given scalar components of the vector pattern. Results of numerical investigations are presented.
