Hw. Chou et Yf. Wang, Effects of learning style and training method on computer attitude and performance in World Wide Web page design training, J EDUC COMP, 21(3), 1999, pp. 325-344
The present study compared the effects of two training methods on computer
attitude and performance in a WWW page design program by a field experiment
. Results indicated that the instruction-based approach outperformed in the
skill-based test of WWW page design functions, whereas the example-based a
pproach reported significantly higher computer attitude. An interaction bet
ween personal learning style (decomposed into information perception and in
formation processing) and training condition was reported. Implications for
training interventions are discussed.
