Abstract
If omega(1), omega(2) are two pure gauge-invariant states of the Cuntz alge bra O-d, we show that there is an automorphism alpha of O-d such that omega (1) = omega(2) circle alpha. If omega is a general pure state on O-d and ph i(0) is a given Cuntz state, we show that there exists an endomorphism alph a of O-d such that phi(0) = omega circle alpha. (C) 2000 Academic Press.
