Abstract
We show that in 4D the anomaly coefficients for SU(3) irreps are equal to t he dimensions of G(2) irreps. This allows the direct calculation of 4D anom alies for any group in terms of the Weyl dimension formula for G(2). We als o give results for 6D and comment on the D > 6 case.
