Abstract
The synthesis and activity as precatalysts for stereoregular a-olefin polymerization of the chiral C-1-symmetric zirconocene complexes (R)- and (S)-Me2Si(eta(5)C(13)H(16))(eta(5)-C5H3R)ZrR2, where C13H16 = oct ahydrofluorenyl, R = NMe2, Cl, or Me, and R = R,2S,5R)-trans-5-methyl -cis-2-(2-propyl)cyclohexyl ((-)-menthyl), are described.
