Abstract
Powders of Co(2)Z were prepared by the gel self-propagating method. The bur nt-out ashes were processed at different temperatures. Unlike other ferrite s, Co(2)Z was not synthesized directly, but was formed from some intermedia te ferrites at lower temperatures due to its fine size and high reactivity. Thus, ceramic samples were obtained having excellent magnetic properties. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
