Abstract
We investigate how chromatin entanglements may subvert the topology of DNA segments (and of genes therein) whenever sister chromatids separate by ever sion. Such subversions offer interesting ideas on how identical genes may b e differently or identically expressed after segregation of sister chromati ds. (C) 2000 Harcourt Publishers Ltd.
