Abstract
I discuss open problems in nucleon structure studies using electromagnetic probes. The focus is on the regime of strong interaction QCD. Significant p rogress in our understanding of the nucleon structure in the region of stro ng QCD may be expected in the first decade of the new millenium due to majo r experimental and theoretical efforts currently underway in this field.
