The masses and decay constants of the light mesons are studied within a lad
der-rainbow truncation of the set of Dyson-Schwinger equations using a mode
l 2-point gluon function. The one phenomenological parameter and two curren
t quark masses are fitted to reproduce f(pi), m(pi) and m(K). Our results f
or f(K), and for the vector mesons rho, phi, and K* are in good agreement w
ith the experimental values.
