THE TT LABOR-FORCE SURVEY ALSO HIGHLIGHTS THE NEED FOR LABOR-MARKET FLEXIBILITY

The labour force forecast concerning Finnish industry is characterised by cautiousness. Simultaneously the labour force survey conducted by the Confederation of Finnish Industry and Employers (TT) reflects an i ncreasing need for labour market flexibility as well as shortcomings i n the supply of labour within certain occupational categories. These r esults, among others, are reported in the present article which also p rovides a more general overview of the labour force survey that TT has conducted annually since 1985.
