Abstract
Evidence concerning the role of dihydrodiol dehydrogenase-catalyzed formati on of quinone metabolites in the mechanism in PAH carcinogenesis is reviewe d and methods for the synthesis of the adducts formed by reaction of PAH qu inone metabolites with DNA are reported.
