Abstract
Template electrosynthesis was employed to obtain from 2-(tosylamino)aniline and 2-pyridinecarbaldehyde monomeric metal 2-(2-pyridylmethyleneamino)-N-t osylaniline chelates (LH) of the composition ML2 (M = Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, and C d). Independent electrochemical and chemical syntheses of the same intracom plex compounds, starting from the above azomethine ligand, were performed.
