Abstract
Black, green and mixed paints were prepared from organically modified silox ane resin. The solar absorptance (a(s)) of prepared black paint/metal coati ngs was 0.90 with corresponding thermal emittance (e(T)) 0.20, whereas gree n paint coatings did not reach satisfactory solar absorptance (a(s) < 0.80) . To improve the absorptance of the green coating, the black paint was admi red into the green paint. Optical properties of the prepared coatings were determined by the help of Kubelka-Munk formalism.
