Abstract
Tris(butyltin) substituted Keggin molybdophosphates, [Bu4N](9)[(BuSn)(3)(PM o9O34)(2)] (1) and [Me4N](9)[(BuSn)(3)(PMo9O34)(2)] (1'), and mono(butyltin ) substituted Keggin molybdophosphates, [Bu4N](4)[(Busn)(PMo11O39)] (2) and [Me4N](4)[(BuSn)(PMo11O39)] (2') have been prepared by the reaction of the butyltintrichloride (BuSnCl3) in acetone or acetonitrile, with [Bu4N](5)H- 4[PMo9O34] (L-1), [Me4N](5)H-4[PMo9O34] (L-1'), [Bu4N](3)H-4[PMo11O39] (L-2 ), and [Me4N](3)H-4[PMo11O39] (L-2') respectively. Elemental analyses. ther mal analyses, IS H-1,C-13 NMR spectra and cyclic voltammetry were used to c haracterize the new compounds. The results of these studies suggest a 2:3 s andwich-type structure for the complexes (1) and (1'), and 1:1 open-type st ructure for the complexes (2) and (2').
