Abstract
4-Chloro-2H-3-chromene carbaldehydes (2a-i) on reaction with ethyl-3-aminoc rotonate 3 gives ethyl-2-methyl-5H-chromeno[3,4-c]pyridine-1-carboxylates 4 a-i in good yields.
