Abstract
Four new clathrates of the formula M(Imidazole)(2)Ni(CN)(4). 2C(6)H(12) (M is Mn, Co, Ni and Cd) have been prepared and their infrared and the Raman s pectrum of Cd clathrate are reported. The spectral results suggest that the se compounds belong to the Hofmann-type clathrates. (C) 2000 Elsevier Scien ce B.V. All rights reserved.
