Abstract
The conformation of maltose-type oligomers in water and in dimethylsulfoxid e (Me2SO) was studied using two-dimensional NMR spectra. In Me2SO all of th e oligomers have a la-type conformation. In water, they tend to adopt the s ame conformation, but the oligomers are looser and more flexible than in Me 2SO. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
