Abstract
In this paper, processing conditions for producing high relative density mi crocellular CPET foams using CO2 as a blowing agent are described. Starting with solid CPET, foams with relative densities between 0.5 to 1.0 were pro duced. Results of instrumented impact tests conducted at various temperatur es ranging from room temperature to -40 degrees C are presented. The CPET f oams exhibit excellent impact properties in the range of temperatures explo red.
