Abstract
The complex anion [Rh-III(phpy)(2)(CN)(2)](-) with phpy(-) = 2-phenylpyridi ne anion shows a blue-green photoluminescence at room temperature in soluti on (lambda(max) = 460 and 490 nm, phi approximate to 0.006). The emission o riginates from a triplet state of the ortho-metalated phenylpyridine ligand . (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
