Abstract
The structure of the channel wave functions of Li-6 is studied qualitativel y. It is found that the widths of the low-lying resonances can be in genera l explained by using shell model wave functions. Nonetheless, the width of the 3(+) state is narrower than that anticipated by the shell model, thus t here is a room for the existence of other physical pictures to describe the very light nuclei.
