Abstract
o-Substituted diphenylmethanols were enantioresolved by the method of chira l dichlorophthalic acid amide, yielding enantiopure alcohols. Their absolut e configurations were unambiguously determined by X-ray crystallography of chiral dichlorophthalate esters.
