Abstract
This paper presents an advanced integrated fault diagnosis expert system to
assist operators at local control centers in Korea. A SCADA simulator is a
lso developed for test and demonstration. The system utilizes all the avail
able information in a local control center for the better diagnostic perfor
mance. The major feature of the system is dealing of multiple fault diagnos
is by the topology based uncertain reasoning process. As the system is base
d on the general topological knowledge, overall performance and the general
ity are enhanced.
