Abstract
From the leaves of Byrsonima crassifolia four new glycolipids, -3-O-(6 -sulpho-alpha-D-quinovopyranosyl)-glycerol, -3-O-(6-sulpho-alpha-D-qui novopyranosyl)-glycerol, 1,2-di-O-palmitoyl-3-O-(beta-D-glucopyranosyl )- and exadecenoyl)-3-O-(beta-D-glucopyranosyl)-glycerol, have been is olated. Nine known compounds were also found. The structures of new co mpounds were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectral data. (C ) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
