Abstract
All-optical switching characteristics of waveguide devices having a nonline ar distributed feedback structure are reported theoretically and experiment ally. These devices were composed of a strip-loaded GaInAsP-InP waveguide a nd a Bragg reflector, which were suitable for optical integrated circuit, I n the experiments, all-optical and gate operation and set-reset operation f or two output ports were successfully demonstrated.
