The need to provide opportunities for early intervention professionals to i
ncrease their knowledge and skill competence is clearly reflected in both t
he extant literature and provisions put forth in federal law. Attempts to m
eet this need through inservice training efforts are often less effective t
han desired. This article presents strategies intended to enhance the effic
acy of early intervention inservice training efforts.
