Abstract
The magnetoplumbite family of materials exhibit properties that make them s uitable to be used as substrates materials for microwave application. Four members of the family studied in this work are LaMgAI(11)O(19), NdGaMgAl10O 19, CaGa6Al6O19 and CaGa12O19. Dielectric studies have been carried out ove r a temperature range of 4-300 K and a wide frequency range. All four exhib it a low dielectric constant with good temperature stability, low dielectri c loss and favorable frequency dependence characteristics. (C) 1999 Publish ed by Elsevier Science Ltd.
