Abstract
A new subgenus and new species of Bourletiellidae are described and il lustrated. The subgenus is part of the genus Stenognathriopes and it i s characterized by the presence of lamellar expanded tenent hairs. Thi s new taxon seems to be endemic of the Sian Ka'an Biological reserve.
