Abstract
Perovskite-structured compounds along the SrTiO3-SrGeO3 join were synt hesized at 7 GPa and 1373 K and studied at ambient pressure. Structura l variations were studied with X-ray diffraction and vibrational spect roscopy, and the dielectric constants were obtained by capacitance mea surements. Powder X-ray diffraction and infrared reflectance measureme nts show that all the synthesized compounds are disordered with the av erage Pm3m perovskite structure.
