Abstract
Calculations have been made for rotationally symmetric monopole antennas wi
th different shapes by the moment method. By comparing the VSWR, the gain,
and the volume of the antenna, an ideal configuration is obtained. Some use
ful references for the antenna design have been given. Theoretical and expe
rimental results are compared, and the agreement is excellent. (C) 2000 Joh
