Abstract
7.62 MeV He was used to study the distribution of a wide range of elements in mineral sands. At this energy both He induced X-ray emission and a high energy resonance in oxygen can be applied simultaneously. The two technique s were used to study the distribution of elements ranging from sulfur to zi rconium as well as oxygen. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserv ed.
