Abstract
Supraglottic laryngeal cysts are benign lesions that usually are easily rec ognized and simply managed. Among these lesions saccular cysts are uncommon , usually large, anomalies of the larynx and can cause severe airway obstru ction and even death. Three patients with a saccular cyst were successfully treated by endoscopic CO2-laser excision of their lesions. Before microlar yngoscopy and laser procedure, an urgent tracheostomy was required in 1 of our cases. Copyright (C) 2000 S. Karger AG, Basel.
